Inter-Club Competitions
2015: 6-a-Side Battle EMAVG v. Leeds AV Group, judged by Bob Rudd (Leeds), & Ashley Franklin (Leicester).
Leeds was the winner this time. We were extremely impressed by the quality of Ashley Franklin's comments. He'd clearly spent a lot of time viewing the AVs (at least three times he said) and making his judgments. What I particularly appreciated was his attention to the nuances in the sound tracks. Well done to all those who had sequences represented. You can read a transcript of Ashley's comments and a summary of Bob Rudd's and download them from here.

60 Second Competition
Everybody thoroughly enjoyed this evening, accompanied by a superb buffet provided by John & Jose. There were fourteen entries, and as usual we had the complete range of AV styles, including photo harmony, humour, and even complete documentaries, all in one minute! The winner was John Hickling again with "Card". Second was Malcolm Imhoff with "Lakeland Palette", and equal third were "Farewell" by Peggy Franks and Peter Lucas, and "Take Care!" by Joan Horne.

Many of the images submitted by EMAVG can be seen in the Photo Gallery.
