60 Second Competition
Fourteen members braved the snow to get to this evening. There were seventeen entries and as usual we had the complete range of AV styles, including photo harmony, humour, and even complete documentaries, all in one minute! Everybody thoroughly enjoyed this evening, accompanied by a superb buffet provided by Sandra & Peggy. It was great to hear members talk about how they came up with their ideas, and many of the AVs could be entered in other competitions such as our own Annual Competition or MidPhot, either as is or by extending them a little.
The winner was Keith Watson with "TTL".
Second was Malcolm Imhoff with "Walking With Grief"
and Third was Andy Hollingbery with "60" 2017" about Santa's problems

Inter-Club Competitions
2015: 6-a-Side Battle EMAVG v. Leeds AV Group, judged by Bob Rudd (Leeds), & Ashley Franklin (Leicester).
Leeds was the winner this time. We were extremely impressed by the quality of Ashley Franklin's comments. He'd clearly spent a lot of time viewing the AVs (at least three times he said) and making his judgments. What I particularly appreciated was his attention to the nuances in the sound tracks. Well done to all those who had sequences represented. You can read a transcript of Ashley's comments and a summary of Bob Rudd's and download them from here.

National Audio Visual Championships
We are very pleased to announce that the National Audio Visual Champion is our Chairman Malcolm Imhoff who won the RPS Gold Medal for his sequence "Soul Music". He will keep this title for two years. He also won the Audience Vote.

Adelaide International AV Fest - March 2013

The Intercities Trophy
The INTER CITIES TROPHY is a major Midlands photographic competition so we are very proud that a group specialising in making audio visual productions, the East Midlands Audio Visual Group, have consistently done well, even winning the competition one year.

Many of the images submitted by EMAVG can be seen in the Photo Gallery.
