Cathy is one of the rising stars in the AV world. She will be giving an on-line presentation to WAVES to which visitors are invited (£3 per person).

60-Second Competition & Christmas Social
Bring your entries on the night. They can be any subject and with any style of soundtrack. The only rule is they must be 1 minute or less. There is no limit to the number of sequences you can bring

AV Exchange Evening
An opportunity to enjoy AVs from Essex AV Group and WAVES.
Saturday 18th January 2025
The main event of the year, our Annual Competition and AV Day, starting at 10:30am (gathering at 10:00am)
To be held in the Ravenhurst Room at Braunstone Civic Centre, 209 Kingsway, Braunstone, Leicester, LE3 2PP
Our Judge and Guest Speakers are Alan and Bev Tyrer
This is an all-day event and after the competition Alan and Bev will give us a presentation of their own excellent AVs - AdVentures in AV
The day is then rounded off with a meal together at the Beefeater Observatory, LE19 1LU.

AV Exchange Evening
This evening we enjoy exchanging some AVs with Beacon Camera Club AV Group.

8th April 2025 - Annual General Meeting
Followed by The Friendship Trophy Competition
We endeavour to make our AGMs short and sweet, which leaves plenty of time to enjoy more AVs.
Following the AGM we are holding this year's Friendship Trophy so please bring your entries along on the night.
For this competition, members are invited to enter as many AVs as they wish one an open topic. The idea of this competition is that each sequence should last no more than five minutes and should use one piece of commercially available piece of recorded music.
